Kulolo, 8 Ounces
Brown Sugar, 1/2 Cup
Lumpia Wrappers, 6 Wrappers
Ice Cream for Serving
Oil for Frying
Directions

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe apple bananas
  • 8 ounces Kulolo (cut into strips)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 6 lumpia wrappers
  • Ice cream for serving
  • Oil for frying

Directions

  1. Cut ripe apple bananas in half lengthwise. Roll bananas in brown sugar.
  2. Lay out one lumpia wrapper with one corner pointing at you. Place one piece each of the banana and kulolo near the center of the wrapper.
  3. Fold the corner nearest to you over the filling. Snugly fold left and right sides over to the middle. Continue to roll up until there's a little part of the corner left. Dab with water and seal it. Repeat for the rest.
  4. IF AIRFRYING: Generously brush the lumpia with vegetable oil. Air fry for 8 minutes at 400F, flipping once halfway. Reapply oil wash during the flip.
  5. IF DEEPFRYING: Cook until lumps turn golden brown.
  6. Let cool and enjoy with a scoop of your favorite ice cream!

Notes: Lumpia will not be as golden brown if air frying, but it will still be nice and crispy.
